Users can remotely control screen brightness, volume, video source, screen status, power and synchronous playback terminal players in real time and can restart and monitor or as scheduled and sync time for terminal players.

When users transfer players to VNNOX AD, scheduled control data will be transferred together with the players.

Step 1     Choose Player Control.

Step 2       Click Click an icon to enter the corresponding page.

Switch between internal video source and HDMI video source.

Player Restart

Restart terminal players which takes about 20 seconds. The player is offline while being restarted.

Switch between normal display and black screen.

Monitor

View terminal player disk usage and data usage and clean up media.

Power Control

Turn on or off screen power.

Allows for real-time control of screen power control through board power and multifunction card power configuration.

Time Synchronization

Sync time for terminal players.

Synchronous Playback

Turn on or off synchronous playback.

Playback Management

Capture screenshots of the current playing content to check whether the playback is normal.

Step 3     On the left of the page, select the target online players.

Step 4     (Optional) On the right of the page, Perform any of the following operation as required.

    • Remote real-time control

Applicable to brightness adjustment, volume adjustment, video source switching, player restart, screen status control, monitoring, power control and synchronous playback.

Users can view real-time brightness, volume, video source status, screen status or power status.

Step 5     Perform the following operations based on the actual situation.

    • To restart players, click 
      • For the player restart function, click Restart Now.
      • For the monitoring function,
    • click 
      • click Media Cleanup. If users
    • choose
      • want to clean up the media
    • that is
      • being played
    • at the same time
      • , the screen may go black.
      • For playback management function, click Recapture. After a screenshot is captured, the screenshot, the date and time when it was captured, and solution source are displayed.
      • For other functions, set the function parameters and click Apply.
    • Remote scheduled control

Applicable to brightness adjustment, volume adjustment, video source switching, player restart, screen status control and power control.

In the Scheduled Control area, perform the following operations as required and then click Apply.

      • Create a plan: Click Image Added to set command parameters and then click OK.
      • Change a plan: Select a plan, click Image Added, change command parameters
    • and click Apply
      • , and then click OK.
      • Delete a plan: select one or multiple plans and click Image Added.
      • Enable a plan: Set the toggle button to Image Added.
    • Time synchronization

Select a time synchronization method as required and then click Apply.

You need to buy and install RF devices before time synchronization.

  • Group ID: Set a same group ID for multiple Taurus units and these units belong to the same group.
  • Set as reference device: Sync the time of other devices in a group with the time of the reference device.
  • NTP: When NTP is turned on, the time of the reference device will be synchronized with the time of NTP server. When NTP is turned off, the time of the reference device will be synchronized with the time of the selected time zone.
